IGI 6006 Soy Paraffin Blend for Candle Making

IGI 6006 Wax is designed to be a single pour container wax when used under favorable conditions. This Blend Wax provides the combined benefits of paraffin and soy wax into a single blend. Approximate ratio is 70% paraffin and 30% soy.
Allow the Igi Wax to cool to 170°F and then pour into your containers. Allow the candles to cool completely and then trim the wicks. Place lids on the candles (if you are using Igi 6006 Candle Wax) and allow the candles to cure for 3-5 days before burning them in order to achieve the strongest hot throw.



Advantages of using IGI 6006:

Typically requires only a single pour for containers up to 28 oz (Large or tall containers may require a second pour)
Good adhesion to jars under optimal conditions (some containers may require heating prior to pouring the wax)
High fragrance load - 8% to 10% fragrance loads are possible
Smooth and creamy look
Achieve vibrant and dark colors
Excellent hot and cold scent throw
Pre-blended; no additives required

• Creamy in appearance, this wax needs no additives other than fragrance and color.

• Holds average amount of fragrance oil.  Fragrance oil retention of 6-10% is  typical.

• Good scent throw.

• Good burn characteristics.

• Low shrinkage means that a re-pour is usually not required.

• Average pour temperature: 160°F.
